Metros of the world meme
I've ridden all of these (I think... there are a few where I'm certain I've visited the city but I might, possibly, not have ridden the subway/train). How about you?

Got at b3co.com!

(Meme snurched from suricattus)

Cool! I've just posted mine on my own site -- a paltry 18, although it would be 20 if he'd included the Melbourne tram and train systems :->

I can claim a mere 13 of those posted.

Ah, but surely you have been places I haven't, in your jet-setty legal life?
e_bournee_bourne on September 23rd, 2008 04:30 am (UTC)
True, although some of them it's to exciting locales like Kenai, AK or Colstrip, MT, which don't have much of a transit system. I go to a lot of those.

I've been on 12, including one you don't list: Atlanta.

Meme
Well, I travel on two quite often you apparently have never been on - TriMet and MAX! LOL! How did you miss those?

Others I don't see there, which I've been on - Miami's Metro, Seattle's and Atlanta's, Santa Fe's - oh, and the Seattle area Ferry system. Have counted up, though...time for breakfast.

Re: Meme
Well, of course I've been on MAX. There was a time when I took the train to work once a week (I didn't stick with it, alas). I've also taken Seattle buses and ferries. But they weren't listed at the website that manages the meme. My guess as to why is that the website only counted systems that contain a subway component. (And MAX's stretch under the West Hills, which includes the deepest station in North America, apparently doesn't count. Humph.)

I thought about manually adding a Tri-Met logo to the meme but that would have been too much like work :-)

Correction: I HADN'T counted up as of last post; I have traveled on a miserly TWO of the above ones, plus those I've mentioned already, oh and the Olympia area's system, having lived there 6 years (funny I can't remember the name of it!)
