Can't login via Safari on iPhone
I can't seem to log into LJ using the browser on my iPhone. Login succeeds but when I go to another page it's forgotten who I am. Anyone else seeing this? Known workaround?

ETA: This issue is widely reported in the Support communities. It appears to be associated with AT&T rather than the iPhone specifically. Login works on the iPhone when connected via wifi; login fails for desktop users whose ISP is AT&T.

ETA2: I got a link to this page as the response to my support request on the issue:

Looks like LJ considers the issue to be AT&T's, and it is still open.

Sounds like the cache is't working. I'd try cleaning the cache out, that's in the settings page.

The JavaScript LJ uses hasn't been playing nicely with iPhone Safari for a while. The LJ app is pretty good and I've taken to using that.

Clearing the cache didn't help.

Argh. I do not like the LJ client.

I have an iPhone with AT&T. When I've has trouble with staying logged in, the problem has been that cookies got turned off during an update.

I don't think that's the case here. "Accept cookies: from visited" is set in Settings. The bug is definitely associated with using AT&T LTE vs. wifi.

I can quite easily reproduce this bug as follows:
1. Viewing my LJ using wifi: There's a gray bar at the top of thye page showing my userpic on the left, indicating I'm logged in.
2. Turn off wifi.
3. Refresh page (using LTE). No gray bar at top.
4. Turn wifi back on.
5. Refresh page (using wifi): Gray bar returns.

Yes -- I see it now. If I turn off WiFi, I get the same behavior in LJ. Dreamwidth doesn't do it.

I get the same! Has there been any findings on how to fix this? Other than the wifi, of course.
