I've been enjoying all of your pictures and reports -- thanks!

The two bottom photos, taken together, have an air of scene shop/costume shop.

Gentle Reader: I added two more photos after Kate posted this comment; she is referring to photos 4 and 5 above. (Photo 7 is also rather scene-shoppy.)

I must say that I've been using my scene shop skills a LOT in this radiotelescope project. What they have in common is that you have to work fast, under time pressure, using the materials and tools available, and it doesn't have to be pretty (except on the front) as long as it works.

That first shot it absolutely gorgeous.

Are you playing with your iPhone in the fourth picture? Geek.

And I love the picture of the EVA suit storage.

That is not my iPhone, it is Laksen's scientific calculator. We're doing trigonometry to determine the lengths of the guy wires for the radiotelescope.

I was teasing--I hope you know that. I'm a little behind in reading the journal entries, so I probably missed the explicit explanation of the photograph but I'll say this much--the "geek" epithet applies even more given your explanation. On the other hand, if anyone there isn't a geek--in the very best sense of the word--they're in the wrong place.
