Another vote for the footprint picture here.

I also took a terrible liberty, and submitted a program idea to Wiscon 34. (See, the program suggestion window closes on January 22, and you won't get back to earth for a couple days after that...)

I'll send you the writeup.

And of course, if you don't want to do this, I'll happily cancel the program. Well, not happily, because I'd want to go to it. Begrudgingly.

Excellent, Luke. Nice spot on the timing.

Turns out, David was faster-thinking than both of us: He submitted a program suggestion before he left. Hah!

That final picture so deserves a caption competition...

"And on p.20 of our spring catalog, our model shows of the new 'Mars' ensemble..."

"No, Phobos is over there!"

"The good news is I've spotted the resupply rocket. The bad news is that it's landed on top of Olympus Mons."

Another vote for the footprint photo. LOL! Brilliant.

And - have you ever looked happier in a photo?

But, hey, that last picture? Um, if that's supposed to be a heroic pose...straighten the back, stick out the chest, jut the jaw and make the gaze steely.

Look! It's a radio telescope! Hope the next crew brings more coaxial cable so it can be fully functional.
