San Jose, April 4-7  
We are coming to San Jose for the ECR@25 square dance fly-in, April 2-4, and have decided to stay on for a few days afterwards, returning on the 7th. Anyone in the Bay Area want to hang out April 4-7? We're also interested in crash space, and information about events happening during those days. We're available Sunday or Monday anytime. I teach Tuesday evening and have meetings Tues & Wed mornings, but you'd be welcome to stay here any of that time. (San Jose, of course. No cats, no dogs, plenty of flowers, books, and dust.)

It would be nice to see you. We have a spare room with a futon so we could be a crash option. I'm working during the week. If you would like to visit I might be able to arrange a lab tour and lunch with a friendly mad scientist. I'm always up for walking in local parks -- there is everything from salt marshes to rolling hills to redwoods. Someone might be willing to take you to local wineries. Have you seen the Babbage engine?

Ditto on the guest bedroom, extra futon, extra cat (well, only cat), etc. if you want to hang out in Palo Alto
