"Agent submissions: 11
Rejections: 14"

You got rejected by three more agents than you submitted to?!

Some of those rejections were replies to submissions sent last year. There's often an imbalance between submissions sent in a calendar year and replies received in that same calendar year.

However, I did in fact receive one rejection from an agent I never actually submitted to. I had a friend who was a client of the agent contact the agent on my behalf, and the agent emailed me to say no.

Greetings from Kalamazoo. Just telling Tullio and &y &a (who taught you to drive a stick shift) about your year. We've drunk the champagne and sung "Benson, Arizona," and right now are just hanging out. Hope.you find 2012 when it hits you in an hour and 33 minutes. Hug Kate for me after midnight!

Indeed I do remember &y &a & his Ford Fiesta, and of course I remember Tullio. Thank them for those memories, and Happy New Year!
